March 17, 2017 Montblanc and Slamp: a perfect writing lamp has come to light

During the upcoming 2017 Salone del Mobile, Slamp, in collaboration with Montblanc, unveils the “Overlay” desk lamp by Analogia Project in the Montblanc boutique located on Milan’s Via Montenapoleone, as well as in Slamp’s official Euroluce stand, running April 4th to 9th.
Both installments will invite guests to interact directly with the lamp, which combines sinuous, minimal design with Montblanc’s iconic, artisan Meisterstück Le Grand writing instrument. A leather rest for the pens is integrated into the lamp’s base.
The synchrony between the two objects is also thanks to the innovative technology in the base; the magnetic rest fits any Montblanc writing instrument, that when removed, automatically turns the lamp on. When put back in its place, the lamp turns off.
